"About this earth, About them, About what I left there..."
Mapping (Greek graphein Chartis = map = writing) is the science that deals with the study and the preparation of maps, and different territorial and other linear dimensions. Taking the reference to the word mapping with an expatriate, I am basing the theme of the project "About this earth, About them, About what I left there..."
"About this earth, About them, About what I left there...Is a project planed to have 12 paintings vinyl-acrylic on canvas (the project already have 6 finished paintings), where you will see the creation of “maps”, routes an images that belong after stay in some temporal house, as how I perceive a new space, which my immigrant status perceive, including in this space, time, color and shape.
Taking the exile as the background as the feeling to belong somewhere, just because you are there, the feeling of lose something just because you’re not going to be there anymore, feel that you’re not going to see the people anymore, remember one place, one street, one dog and painting it in my map.
